We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to help shape the future of Chefman and serve as the subject matter expert for assigned product categories. This person will own category strategy and roadmaps, using consumer research, market analysis, retail insights, and hands-on execution to identify opportunities and drive products from concept through launch and beyond.

This role sits at the intersection of Product Management and Marketing. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, data-driven, highly collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the strategy and roadmap for assigned product categories.
  • Conduct market research, competitive product analysis, retail evaluations, and consumer research to maintain a sharp, current view of the category landscape.
  • Translate consumer, market, and business insights into clear product opportunities and actionable category strategy.
  • Partner closely with product development, marketing, creative, culinary, sales, and other cross-functional teams to align priorities and drive products from concept through launch and beyond.
  • Develop detailed product briefs that translate category strategy into clear product, creative, and marketing direction.
  • Track category and product KPIs, including product performance and customer satisfaction, and recommend improvements based on results.
  • Serve as the product category subject matter expert, keeping stakeholders aligned on priorities, decisions, risks, and next steps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in business, marketing, technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of product management experience, ideally within consumer electronics, durable goods, small appliances, or CPG.
  • Demonstrated experience managing physical consumer products through the product lifecycle, from strategy and concept development through launch and post-launch performance.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple products and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong customer empathy and design thinking, with a clear focus on product quality and the end-user experience.
  • Comfortable working with data and KPIs, asking the right questions, identifying trends, and recognizing when performance is off track.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate consumer and market insights into actionable product strategy.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product development, marketing, creative, sales, and other business teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and keep teams aligned.

The base salary range for this role is provided below. Compensation is determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity, in accordance with New Jersey pay transparency requirements.
