Mobile SDK Engineer (iOS)
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite)
Employment Type: Full-time, initial 12-month contract with potential extension/permanent opportunity
Salary: €70,000 – €90,000 per year

The role
As a Mobile Engineer (iOS), you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying high-quality mobile applications and features. You will work closely with Product, Security, and Engineering teams to build secure, scalable and reliable mobile solutions.
You will contribute to improving existing products, maintaining operational stability and delivering new capabilities within an Agile development environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, test, and deploy iOS applications, tools, and features
- Deliver projects within agreed timelines and quality standards
- Participate in Agile development processes (SCRUM/Kanban)
- Improve and maintain internal tools and mobile solutions supporting commercial products
- Monitor application performance, stability, and operational health
- Investigate and resolve technical issues and customer-related incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve products and processes
- Contribute ideas around architecture, quality, and engineering best practices

Requirements
- Professional experience as an iOS Developer or Mobile Engineer
- Strong experience with Swift and native iOS development
- Good understanding of the iOS ecosystem, SDKs, frameworks, and device capabilities
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Experience working in Agile engineering teams
- Strong English communication skills

- Experience developing mobile SDKs
- Experience designing mobile APIs
- Experience building mobile systems handling large volumes of real-time data
- Android development experience
- Interest in additional technologies such as C++ or Rust
