Shape the future of professional vehicle buying
Autorola Group is transforming how vehicles are bought, sold, valued and managed across the global automotive industry.
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our Buyer Space—the products and experiences that help professional buyers discover, evaluate and purchase the right vehicles with confidence.
This is a commercially important role at the heart of Autorola Marketplace. You will shape the entire buyer journey, from acquisition and vehicle discovery to auction participation, purchasing, fulfilment and long-term retention.
Your success will be measured through buyer growth, bidding activity, purchase conversion, retention and marketplace liquidity—not by the number of features delivered.
About Autorola Group
Autorola Group is a global provider of online vehicle remarketing, automotive IT solutions and business intelligence for the used-vehicle industry.
Through Autorola Marketplace, Autorola Solutions and Indicata, we help manufacturers, leasing companies, fleet owners and dealers buy, sell, value and manage vehicles more effectively.
With more than 850 employees across 20 subsidiaries in Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific, we combine international scale and industry expertise with an ambition to transform how we build products and create customer value.
Your role
As Product Manager for Buyer Space, you will own the product strategy, priorities and outcomes across the end-to-end buyer journey.
You will bring together experiences that have traditionally been distributed across different products, systems and operational processes. Your responsibility is to create a coherent and effective buyer experience while improving the commercial performance of the marketplace.
This means understanding why buyers participate, what prevents them from purchasing and how we can connect each vehicle with the buyers most likely to want it. You will address challenges spanning buyer activation, search and recommendations, vehicle information, bidding, purchasing, transport and repeat buying.
The role is part of Autorola’s company-wide Product organisation and reports to the Chief Product Officer. You will work closely with Product Design and Engineering in a cross-functional product team and help establish the empowered, outcome-oriented ways of working we are introducing across Autorola.
You will also collaborate with commercial teams, marketplace operations, country organisations, data specialists and other product teams. This is an international role with considerable scope to influence both the customer experience and the future direction of Autorola Marketplace.
What you will be doing
In this role you will:
- Define and evolve the product vision, strategy and priorities for Buyer Space.
- Develop a deep understanding of professional buyers, their purchasing behaviour and the barriers preventing them from participating and buying.
- Improve how new buyers are acquired, onboarded and activated, including reducing the time and effort required to make a first purchase.
- Help buyers discover relevant inventory across auctions, countries and markets through better search, recommendations, personalisation and inventory presentation.
- Build buyer confidence through clearer and more reliable information about vehicles, condition, pricing, documentation and transaction processes.
- Improve auction participation, bidding and purchasing to increase buyer activity and conversion.
- Connect the digital buyer journey more effectively with payment, transport, support and post-purchase services.
- Use customer research, behavioural data and commercial insight to identify the constraints with the greatest impact on buyer growth and marketplace liquidity.
- Define clear outcome metrics and use experimentation and continuous learning to evaluate product performance.
- Work with Product Design and Engineering to explore problems, test assumptions and deliver effective, high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with commercial and operational teams across countries to create scalable products while recognising important differences between local markets.
- Manage dependencies with Seller Space, Product Foundation and other product areas that influence the buyer experience.
You will have the mandate to determine where the greatest opportunities exist, make clear prioritisation decisions and lead the team towards measurable outcomes.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who combines strong product judgement with commercial awareness, analytical ability and genuine curiosity about customers.
You will likely bring:
- A strong track record in product management, including ownership of a commercially important product, customer journey or problem space.
- Experience working across product strategy, discovery, delivery, adoption and measurable business outcomes.
- Strong customer-discovery skills and the ability to turn qualitative and quantitative insight into clear product direction.
- Experience using behavioural, conversion or commercial data to diagnose problems and evaluate results.
- Experience working closely with Product Design and Engineering in a cross-functional environment.
- The ability to navigate operational processes as well as digital customer experiences.
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence commercial, operational and technical stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
- The judgement to balance immediate commercial opportunities with the development of a coherent long-term product.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working across countries, functions and levels of seniority.
Experience with marketplaces, e-commerce, auctions, search, recommendations, conversion optimisation or other demand-side products would be particularly valuable. Automotive experience is an advantage, but it is not a requirement.
What success looks like
During your first six months, you will have developed a strong understanding of our buyers, marketplace dynamics and current performance. You will have established clear outcome metrics, identified the most important opportunities and created a focused product direction with Product Design, Engineering and key business partners.
Within your first 12–18 months, we expect to see measurable progress in selected buyer outcomes, such as:
- Buyer activation and time-to-first-purchase.
- Active buyers and buyer participation per vehicle.
- Vehicle discovery, bidding activity and purchase conversion.
- Buyer satisfaction, retention and repeat purchasing.
- Demand and liquidity across Autorola Marketplace.
You will also have established a continuous discovery, experimentation and measurement cadence within the team.
Why join Autorola?
You will take ownership of a mission-critical part of an international marketplace, with direct influence on customer experience and commercial performance.
You will join Autorola as we strengthen our company-wide Product organisation and organise more clearly around customer problems. You will not simply inherit a fixed roadmap—you will help shape the product direction and how we work.
We offer the scale, stability, data and industry access of an established international company together with a meaningful opportunity to drive change across more than 20 subsidiaries.
We also offer pension and health insurance, social and company events, a great lunch arrangement, access to a fitness room and a lively Friday bar.
Want to join the team?
We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible.
We recognise that strong candidates bring different combinations of experience. We value inclusion and diversity and encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every listed qualification.
Applications and CVs will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and the advertisement may be removed once the right candidate has been found.
