Day to day, you will support employees with their computers, mobile devices, printers, and everyday software; log and track every issue in our helpdesk ticketing system; document how each was resolved; and keep local equipment and IT supplies organized and accounted for. You will resolve most issues on your own and partner with our Managed Service Provider and Senior IT on the more complex ones. We move fast and our systems evolve, so we are looking for someone with the capacity and curiosity to learn how our various platforms work and to keep growing their skills as they go. This role reports to the Vice President of IT. Work Schedule & Location This is an on-site role reporting to Brewster, NY, supporting the entire company with a primary focus on the Brewster facility. On rare occasions, travel to one of our other two warehouse locations may be required. The schedule is primarily standard business hours, but flexibility is required. On occasion you may need to come in early to support an on-site meeting, stay late to support the company during an emergency, take phone calls after hours, and work the occasional weekend as business needs require. Collaborate with departments onboarding and offboarding — deploy and collect end-user equipment and accounts — and communicate clearly with all levels of staff. Back up the team. Assist the VP of IT and team members with maintenance and upkeep of the network and with IT projects and rollouts. Improve operations. Create and improve procedures and forms that make IT operations run more smoothly.
