This position also leads efforts to improve data discoverability, interoperability, and responsible data sharing.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to undergo and pass a background investigation.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate development and execution of enterprise data governance strategies while advising senior executives on data policy, risk, and modernization priorities Develop and support frameworks for data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data classification, and enterprise data catalog capabilities Ensure compliance with federal data mandates, including evidence-based policymaking and open data requirements, while supporting public data release strategies Facilitate implementation of enterprise data governance policies, standards, and procedures, including data retention, archiving, and disposal Ensure enterprise data assets are discoverable, accessible, and protected through appropriate access controls
QualificationsQualifications: A bachelor's degree. Superior time management, organization, and prioritization skills. Ability to build and maintain relationship with internal employees as well as outside sources. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication skills. Exhibit a high level of confidentiality. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to change. Willingness to work flexible hours. Must be able to pass a Top-Secret background investigation.
