The opportunity

Băncilă, Diaconu și Asociații SPRL is recruiting a lawyer for the Legal Consultancy practice | Banking, AI & Cybersecurity.

This is the perfect place to start your legal career if you are curious about the way technology, data and regulation are reshaping the business world. You will work across three dynamic and future-focused areas of practice: banking and financial services, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, advising clients from a wide range of industries. No prior professional experience is required. What matters most is your enthusiasm, your willingness to learn and your genuine interest in these fields, as you will be supported by an experienced team every step of the way.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Being members of the Bucharest Bar or another bar in Romania;
  • You are interested in banking, technology, AI and cybersecurity, and excited to explore how the law applies to them;
  • You have an agile, growth-oriented mindset. What you know matters. But the right mindset is just as important in determining success. We’re looking for people who are innovative, can work in an agile way and keep pace with a rapidly changing world;
  • Having solid legal knowledge and a strong academic foundation. Professional experience is not required, and this role is equally open to recent graduates and to candidates with up to one year of experience;
  • Team spirit, aimed to understand and meet the needs of clients and the market, with a tendency towards a serious, rigorous and creative approach to projects.

Your responsibilities will also include

As a member of our team, you will manage your tasks in a collegial and dynamic environment, you will be involved in developing innovative solutions and you will have an active role in:

  • Providing assistance services in banking, financial services, AI and cybersecurity matters;
  • Conducting legal research and supporting the team in analyzing new and evolving regulations in the financial and technology sectors;
  • Helping to draft, review and organize legal documents, memos and client materials;
  • Working in a team and assuming an active role in knowledge and experience sharing;
  • Closely collaborating with senior lawyers, who will mentor and support your development;
  • Collaborating with transaction assistance professionals and other business consulting professionals to implement multidisciplinary projects.
