Your role
As a Project Manager, Technology Transfer & Process Development, you will play a key role in facilitating the successful transfer and advancement of cell therapy manufacturing processes from internal or external partners into development and manufacturing environments. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional project activities, driving technology transfer initiatives, and ensuring alignment between scientific, operational, quality, and regulatory stakeholders.
This role is ideally suited for an individual with experience in cell therapy, process development, or biopharmaceutical development who is eager to combine scientific expertise with project leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of technology transfer and process development projects within the cell therapy portfolio.
- Plan, coordinate, and drive technology transfer activities from external customers into Process Development as well as the subsequent transfer of developed processes into GMP manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Process Development, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and other stakeholders.
- Serve as a key point of contact between internal departments, customers, and external partners to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation, technology transfer packages, development reports, risk assessments, and other GxP-relevant documentation.
- Present project updates, technical data, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and external customers.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
- Several years of experience in cell therapy, process development, biopharmaceutical development, or a related field.
- Experience supporting or leading technology transfer activities and cross-functional project teams.
- Solid understanding of GMP requirements, process development, and clinical manufacturing environments.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication in German and English and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and drive projects to completion.
