Position Overview
This team is responsible for developing an Operator Monitoring System with a focus on operator safety features. The Senior QA Automation Engineer will work directly with a software development team of approximately 10 people to deliver high-quality software on challenging timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, document, and maintain test cases for the Operator Monitoring System software
- Develop automated test scripts to support ongoing automated testing efforts
- Test software, document results, and provide feedback to the development team on test outcomes and software testability
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design decisions
- Participate in daily standups and story/feature refinement meetings
- Discuss software design choices with the Software Architect and provide input on design direction based on test results
- Interact daily with development and systems team members to understand software requirements and design decisions, review test results, and provide input on design direction.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Software Development discipline with 8–10 years of relevant experience OR
- Associate's degree with 12 years of relevant experience also considered OR
- Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience also considered
