Accountabilities: The Principal Product Manager will lead product strategy and execution for healthcare practice operations, driving improvements that reduce administrative workload and create meaningful customer outcomes.
- Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for reducing administrative burden across key practice workflows.
- Lead customer discovery efforts to understand operational challenges, identify workflow inefficiencies, and uncover high-impact opportunities.
- Reimagine communication and administrative workflows to help teams prioritize tasks, improve responsiveness, and reduce manual effort.
- Improve patient-facing experiences by enabling greater self-service, reducing unnecessary administrative interactions, and streamlining intake processes.
- Partner with engineering and design teams to define product opportunities, write requirements, establish acceptance criteria, and validate solutions.
- Use customer insights, analytics, and business data to prioritize product investments and make informed decisions.
- Align cross-functional teams including support, implementation, sales, and customer success to drive successful launches and adoption.
- Establish and monitor product success metrics such as administrative time saved, workflow completion rates, adoption, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Champion a culture focused on measurable customer impact rather than simply delivering features.
- Provide product leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to improve team execution and decision-making.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with strong workflow expertise, customer discovery skills, and a passion for building technology that creates measurable improvements in healthcare operations.
- Proven experience leading product strategy and execution for complex software products.
- Strong understanding of workflow-based product design and the ability to identify root causes behind customer challenges.
- Demonstrated success managing products from discovery and strategy through delivery, launch, and optimization.
- Excellent customer research and discovery skills, with the ability to translate user needs into scalable product solutions.
- Strong product management capabilities, including roadmap planning, prioritization, requirements definition, acceptance criteria, and quality validation.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across engineering, design, support, implementation, sales, and customer success teams.
- Experience using data and customer evidence to guide product decisions and measure outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational improvement.
- High ownership mindset, strong attention to quality, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience in healthcare technology, practice management software, or similar workflow-driven industries is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.
