Facilites and Project Management Manager

Objetive:

Plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee industrial infrastructure, facility, construction, expansion, relocation, and capital investment projects across PKC North America operations, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with corporate standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory obligations. Lead the development and implementation of strategic facility initiatives that support operational growth, manufacturing efficiency, business continuity, sustainability, and long-term operational excellence.

Project Planning & Management:

  • Develop, lead, and execute industrial projects including plant expansions, greenfield and brownfield developments, facility relocations, building renovations, utility installations, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Define project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.
  • Present project business cases, CAPEX requests, and financial justifications to executive leadership for approval.
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular progress reports to executive management.
  • Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Management
  • Manage annual CAPEX budgets and project portfolios.
  • Ensure all projects meet approved financial targets, ROI expectations, and corporate investment guidelines.
  • Monitor expenditures and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Coordinate project procurement activities and vendor selection processes.

Internal & External Coordination:

  • Coordinate project execution across multiple manufacturing facilities
  • Partner with Plant Managers, Operations, Engineering, Finance, EHS, Supply Chain, HR, and Maintenance teams to ensure project alignment.
  • Obtain complete agreement on scope of work from all plant managers and operational director before submitting for Executive approval.
  • Conduct monthly meetings to update on project status and completion commitment date.
  • Establish project governance standards and best practices across all locations.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure all projects comply with applicable Federal, State, Municipal, Environmental, Safety, Construction, and Building regulations.
  • Coordinate permits, licenses, inspections, and governmental approvals.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, insurance, and corporate requirements.
  • Infrastructure & Facilities Development
  • Lead design, installation, upgrade, and maintenance of facility infrastructure systems including:
  • Electrical distribution systems; Compressed air systems; Water and wastewater systems; Fire protection systems
  • Building structures, roofs, docks, and support facilities
  • Ensure adequate infrastructure capacity to support production growth and new program launches.
  • Business Continuity & Emergency Preparedness
  • Support disaster recovery planning and facility resilience initiatives.
  • Coordinate emergency repairs and infrastructure recovery efforts when required.
  • Ensure critical utilities and infrastructure systems maintain operational continuity.
  • Comply with and ensure compliance with PKC Group's Environment, Health and SafetyPolicy and Energy Policy.
  • Comply with the environmental, health, safety and energy requirements set forth in Federal, State and Municipal legislation and applicable regulations related to our activities and products to comply with the EMASS (Energy, Environment, Health and Safety) procedures inherent to their work position.

• Contribute to the effectiveness of the Energy, Environment, Health and Safety Management System, including the achievement of the EMASS Objectives and Goals

Profile required

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial project management, construction, or plant maintenance.
  • 2 yrs proven experience negotiating with landlords and property brokers.
  • 2 yrs proven experience coordinating with maintenance, EHS, and HR departments.
  • Proven knowledge of electrical and plumbing
  • Proficient in both English and Spanish – Written and Spoken
  • MS Office. Outlook, Live Meeting and ERP systems
