Position Summary/Overview:

This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Data and Applications and is intended for a professional with 3–5 years of experience who is equally comfortable supporting ERP or core business applications and working with ERP operational reporting as well as analytics platforms like Power BI and/or Tableau. The position sits at the intersection of business systems and data: troubleshooting and improving the ERP/business application on one side, and reporting and analytics on the other. Manufacturing or packaging industry experience is strongly preferred.

The role independently manages assigned projects — spanning application enhancements, reporting builds, or process improvements — gathering and documenting requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, and delivering reliable solutions that support operational and corporate business needs. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, self-directed, and equally at home debugging an ERP workflow issue as they are validating an analytics dashboard.

Responsibilities:

ERP & Business Application Support

  • Provide day-to-day ERP/business application support, including issue triage, root-cause analysis, testing, documentation, end-user support, and coordination of enhancements or fixes
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and rollout support for application enhancements
  • Partner with end users and business stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, define acceptance criteria, prioritize enhancements, and escalate risks or blockers when needed

Reporting & Data Analytics

  • Create, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve operational reports, including Super Reports and other reporting needs across business functions
  • Support Power BI and Tableau projects by preparing data, updating reports and dashboards, validating results, documenting logic, and coordinating feedback with business users
  • Perform data validation, basic analysis, and data quality checks to help ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across systems

Cross-Functional / Project Delivery

  • Independently manage assigned reporting, analytics, application, or process improvement projects from requirements gathering through testing, rollout, and post-implementation support
  • Support automation and AI initiatives by analyzing current processes, documenting requirements, testing solutions, coordinating implementation, and identifying practical efficiency opportunities
  • Prepare and communicate regular project status updates, including progress, risks, issues, decisions needed, and next steps
  • Monitor issues and requests, communicate status proactively, follow through on commitments, and provide responsive support to business stakeholders

Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3–5 years of experience with both: (a) supporting an ERP or comparable core business application, and (b) building/maintaining reports or dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Manufacturing or packaging industry experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to learn business processes quickly, translate user needs into clear requirements, and deliver practical solutions with limited day-to-day direction
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, reporting platforms, business applications, manufacturing systems, or operational workflows preferred
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Operational, Excel, SQL, automation tools, or AI-enabled productivity tools is preferred
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate data, process, and system issues

Preferred Attributes:

  • Self-directed, dependable, and able to take ownership of assigned work from intake through completion
  • Comfortable working directly with business users, technical teams, and leadership to clarify needs, communicate progress, and drive follow-through
  • Able to organize work, manage timelines, identify risks early, and provide concise written and verbal status updates
  • Strong attention to detail in testing, report validation, and documentation
  • Practical interest in process improvement, automation, reporting standardization, and AI applications that improve business efficiency
  • Manufacturing, labels, packaging, or print industry experience is a plus
