Position Summary
As a Senior Analyst - Business Analytics you will be part of a highly skilled team within the Aetna Testing Center of Excellence (TCOE) team focused on delivering scalable automation solutions, advanced data analytics, and high-quality testing outcomes across healthcare benefits and claims platforms.
As part of this role, you will collaborate closely with Testing Subject Matter Expertise, Testers, Quality Engineers, and Reporting teams, supporting enterprise initiatives across Medicare and Commercial lines of business. Your work will directly impact operational quality, turnaround times, and defect leakage prevention. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Python, SQL, and reporting tools with deep analytical skills to drive testing automation, data validation, and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and support automation solutions, testing frameworks, and lightweight applications using Python. • Create and optimize SQL queries for data analysis, validation, reporting, and defect investigation. • Build Power BI dashboards and reports to provide insights into testing, defects, and performance metrics. • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and increase productivity. • Validate claims and benefits data to ensure business requirements and quality standards are met. • Perform root cause analysis, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions. • Collaborate with business and technical teams to streamline processes and identify automation opportunities. • Mentor team members and communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Required Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in testing, automation, quality assurance, data analysis, or related areas. • Strong Python programming skills, including automation, scripting, and application development. • Strong SQL expertise with experience analyzing and validating large datasets. • Experience building AI-driven solutions and using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot. • Experience creating Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills. • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools. • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications • Experience in Healthcare, Provider, Claims, or Benefits platforms. • Knowledge of claims data sources such as HRP and ACAS. • Experience with PostgreSQL and other relational databases. • Basic knowledge of QuickBase or other low-code platforms.
Education • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent relevant experience).

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $122,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
