Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and business-oriented SAP Business Analyst to support and optimize SAP solutions following deployment across our business units. The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, end-users, support teams, and IT delivery teams to ensure the stability, adoption, and continuous improvement of SAP processes after go-live.

This role focuses on managing the RUN phase, driving process improvements, resolving business issues, coordinating support activities, and maximizing the value delivered by SAP solutions.

The Job is based in Brisbane and is covering both New Zealand and Australian perimeter on Connect program landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Application Support & Incident Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for business users regarding SAP-related issues and requests.
  • Analyse, prioritize, and coordinate the resolution of incidents, service requests, and process disruptions.
  • Work closely with support teams, SAP experts, and technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Monitor recurring issues and identify root causes to prevent future occurrences.
  • Support External growth on dedicated perimeters (NZ and AU)

Business Process Ownership

  • Maintain a deep understanding of business processes and SAP functionalities within assigned domains.
  • Support business users in day-to-day operations and provide functional expertise.
  • Assess change requests and evaluate their impact on existing processes and systems.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for implementation teams.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Participate in SAP release management and coordinate functional testing activities.
  • Support the deployment of enhancements, corrections, and new functionalities.

User Adoption & Training

  • Provide guidance and functional support to end-users.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, process documentation, and knowledge articles.
  • Organize user workshops and refresher training sessions when required.
  • Promote SAP best practices and standardized business processes.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders across multiple countries and business units.
  • Facilitate workshops to collect feedback and prioritize improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in governance meetings and contribute to operational reviews.
  • Provide reporting and status updates on support activities, system performance, and improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or SAP Support Analyst.
  • Experience supporting SAP solutions in a production environment.
  • Experience with SAP deployment projects and post-go-live stabilization activities.
  • Exposure to international business environments is highly desirable.

SAP Knowledge

Experience in one or more SAP modules such as:

  • SAP S/4HANA Core
  • SAP CO (and related CO/PS) module
  • SAP SD
