DESCRIPTION: Join our collaborative team as a Senior Business Analyst where you'll connect business and technology to create innovative solutions across Thermo Fisher Scientific. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll analyze complex business needs, translate requirements into actionable solutions, and implement strategic initiatives that enhance our operations and customer experience.

In this role, you'll apply your expertise in data analysis, process optimization, and project management to deliver impactful results that support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll partner with stakeholders at all levels to identify opportunities for improvement, develop comprehensive solutions, and ensure successful delivery of business-critical projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • overall 10+ years and 3+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting enterprise Commercial platforms.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce.com, including Sales Cloud & Service Cloud.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements, facilitating workshops, and translating business needs into user stories and functional specifications.
  • Experience delivering Agile projects using Scrum or SAFe methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle, CRM processes, Lead-to-Cash, Quote-to-Cash, and Customer Service operations.
  • Experience identifying and implementing business process automation using Salesforce Flow, workflow tools, or enterprise automation platforms.
  • Knowledge of AI and Generative AI capabilities, including practical business applications such as copilots, intelligent search, knowledge management, and workflow automation.
  • Experience working with enterprise integrations using APIs, middleware, or integration platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret business data and recommend process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

Preferred

  • Salesforce Administrator certification or Business Analyst certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Einstein AI, Data Cloud, or other Salesforce AI capabilities.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, CRM Analytics, or similar reporting platforms.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards.
  • Familiarity with Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, or enterprise automation technologies.
  • Experience within Life Sciences, Healthcare, or regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Business Analyst supporting Salesforce.com, CIX, and other Commercial Digital platforms across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Customer Experience functions.
  • Partner with Commercial, Finance, Customer Service, Sales Operations, Marketing, and IT stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into scalable Salesforce and CIX capabilities.
  • Drive business process transformation by identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and optimize business workflows.
  • Lead requirements discovery through workshops, process mapping, user story development, and backlog refinement.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Architects, Integration teams, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Identify and evaluate AI and Generative AI opportunities that improve employee productivity, customer engagement, knowledge management, and decision-making.
  • Define automation opportunities using Salesforce Flow, workflow automation, AI copilots, and enterprise automation platforms.
  • Partner with Data & Analytics teams to define reporting requirements, KPIs, dashboards, and data quality improvements supporting Commercial and Finance organizations.
  • Support the integration of Salesforce with enterprise platforms including ERP, CPQ, Order Management, Customer Data, and Finance systems.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, governance, and data management standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, demonstrations, testing, and release planning.
  • Develop business cases, functional specifications, process documentation, user acceptance test plans, and training materials.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate defect resolution, and support production deployments.
  • Provide production support and continuous improvement recommendations while driving adoption of new platform capabilities.
  • Mentor junior Business Analysts and contribute to best practices for requirements management, solution design, and business process improvement.
  • Stay current on Salesforce innovations, AI capabilities, automation technologies, and digital transformation trends to proactively recommend business improvements.
