What You'll Get to Do Reporting to the Director of Cargo, the Cargo Business Analyst provides administrative and customer service support to the Cargo Department and Cargo Managers.

  • Responsible for processing claims
  • Responsible for the Amelia Cargo customer portal
  • Ensure all rates are adjusted in the Amelia Cargo system as per contractual deadlines
  • Assist in cargo reporting using Power BI, WOR reports and Amelia on Hand
  • Monitor SLA credits and ensure no duplication of claims/SLA payouts
  • Provide customers with information on rates, routing, aircraft limits and acceptance requirements including quotes
  • Manage all cargo contracts with respect to increases, price changes and adjustments
  • Ensure Fuel calculations are updated as per Director/VP of cargo
  • Assist with contract negotiations
  • Create/edit reports as requested using available data in Amelia, VMO and Power BI
  • Provide support to Director of Cargo, VP of Cargo, and Cargo Operations Manager
  • Complete morning audit/AD’s and forward to the Cargo Manager
  • Complete month/year end reports as well as manager the backend of Amelia Cargo System
  • Respect and maintain the confidentiality of company, customer, and personnel information
  • Manage the Canada Post security screening process for all cargo employees including security checks and monitoring ongoing compliance
  • Assist the Cargo department with the Amelia cargo system
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience We Value

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Post-secondary education in related field considered an asset
  • Ability to read and write, basic math skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and written
  • Proficiency with computers (MS Office)
  • Financial Knowledge and excellent use of Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Excellent listening skills with ability to follow direction
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Previous experience & knowledge in warehousing, receiving and inventory control considered an asset
  • Must be able obtain and maintain an enhanced security clearance
  • Must have own transportation to and from work
  • Inuktitut and/or Inuinnaqtun language considered an asset
  • Preference given to Inuit Land Claims Beneficiaries
