About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects from planning through to completion. Working within a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will manage consultants, contractors and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes that create lasting benefits for the people of NSW.

You will operate with a high level of autonomy while balancing project objectives, governance requirements, stakeholder expectations and commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing contractor performance to achieve successful outcomes.

• Manage the engagement of consultants and contractors, including procurement, scoping, contract administration and performance management.

• Provide project leadership and expert advice through the analysis of project information, monitoring progress and ensuring alignment with approved business cases and delivery strategies.

• Oversee project governance, financial management, forecasting, risk mitigation and reporting to support effective decision-making.

• Build and maintain strong relationships across government, industry, contractors and local communities to support successful project delivery.

About You

You are a proactive, hands-on Project Manager who thrives in complex environments and enjoys turning ambitious ideas into real outcomes. You build trusted relationships, navigate competing priorities and bring people together to deliver results.

You will bring:

• Experience delivering major infrastructure, building, civil, precinct or urban renewal projects.

• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement and contract management skills.

• Experience leading multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams.

• Sound commercial acumen and experience managing project budgets, risks and governance requirements.

• The ability to work collaboratively across government, private sector and community stakeholders.

Experience working within government, major infrastructure, cultural infrastructure, heritage projects or complex public sector delivery environments will be highly regarded.
