As an Embedded Software Engineer I, here at Honeywell Aerospace Flight Management System (FMS) team, you will work in a fast paced, collaborative development environment alongside experienced software and systems engineers. You will contribute to satisfying technical requirements, supporting functional load deliveries, and ensuring full compliance with stringent certification standards.

You will report directly to our Sr Software Engr Manager out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain core Flight Management software supporting next‑generation avionics systems.
- Implement high-quality software solutions that meet performance, security, and reliability requirements.
- Participate in requirements and code reviews, contributing ideas that improve software quality and development practices.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, test, and certification teams to deliver integrated software solutions.
- Support software integration, testing, and debugging in laboratory environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects across the development and integration lifecycle
- Continually grow your technical skills while applying industry standards and aerospace best practices.
