Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain queries using SQL, Python, Databricks, and BigQuery.
- Design and manage data pipelines and workflows on platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
- Implement and oversee ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure accurate and timely data movement.
- Integrate APIs with data lakes to enhance data accessibility and interoperability.
- Create and deploy AI Agents within Databricks applications to automate analytical tasks and insights generation.
- Utilize Databricks Genie for advanced data engineering and analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand procurement processes and translate requirements into actionable data solutions (experience in procurement is a plus).
- Develop compelling data visualizations and narratives using Power BI to communicate insights and support business strategy.
- Work with SAP systems for data extraction, transformation, and reporting (SAP knowledge is an added advantage).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, Databricks, BigQuery, and data platform technologies (GCP, Azure).
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and API integration with data lakes.
- Experience in creating AI agents within Databricks and familiarity with Databricks Genie.
- Ability to present complex data findings through visualization and storytelling in Power BI.
- Process knowledge in procurement and experience with SAP systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
