This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Automation Engineer based in India.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to build and enhance modern test automation capabilities for enterprise digital platforms that support critical business operations. You will design scalable automation frameworks, leverage AI-assisted testing techniques, and help ensure the quality of Salesforce applications, customer portals, integrations, and web platforms. Working in a collaborative Agile environment with international teams, you will contribute to continuous delivery, improve software reliability, and drive automation best practices across the development lifecycle. Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI, API, and integration test automation frameworks for enterprise applications and digital platforms.
  • Build and expand automated regression test suites covering Salesforce solutions, customer portals, integrations, and other business applications.
  • Automate testing for dynamic user interfaces using Playwright, Selenium, and modern web automation techniques, including complex UI components.
  • Apply AI-assisted testing approaches such as automated test generation, self-healing locators, intelligent debugging, and test maintenance to improve automation efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain API and service-layer automation to validate integrations and reduce dependence on UI testing.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and version control systems to support continuous quality validation.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing while documenting test results, defects, and quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and share best practices with the broader engineering team.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation covering automation strategies, testing processes, and quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 2 years of hands-on test automation experience.
  • Proven expertise designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, or similar technologies.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, or another relevant programming language.
  • Experience automating complex web applications, including dynamic user interfaces and modern component-based architectures.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted testing tools or techniques for test generation, maintenance, debugging, or productivity enhancement.
  • Experience building API automation using tools such as Postman, Newman, REST Assured, Playwright API testing, or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automation integration using platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or comparable solutions.
  • Experience using defect tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce platform functionality and familiarity with SOQL.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies with experience working in cross-functional product teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in an international environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce-specific testing tools, performance testing, CRM Analytics, Pardot, or Salesforce certifications is considered an advantage.
