Full description
Description:
If you have built your foundation in Big Four audit, transaction services, deals, valuation or corporate finance—and now want to move closer to the asset and the decision—this role offers a distinctive next step.
You will build and own the analysis behind solar, wind and BESS investments, working with the partners, project teams, international investors and lenders from development and construction through financing and asset monetization. This is a hands-on, principal-side role—not a narrow reporting position.
Responsabilities:
- Investment modelling and valuation. Build and stress-test robust solar, wind and BESS project models, including DCF, returns and sensitivity analysis.
- Financing and transaction execution. Prepare lender and investor materials, due diligence analyses and data-room content; support valuations and negotiations for partial or full ownership sales.
- Project and commercial analysis. Challenge CAPEX, OPEX, construction budgets and cash-flow assumptions with the development and EPCM teams.
- Decision support. Turn project data into decision-ready analyses, dashboards and presentations for management, partners and investors.
- Market insight. Track power prices, balancing and ancillary services, capacity-market developments and CfD schemes.
Requirements:
- A strong finance foundation. Experience in Big Four audit, transaction services/FDD, deals, valuation or corporate finance—or a comparable environment.
- Modelling and financial fluency. Advanced Excel skills; confidence building transparent, review-ready models; and a sound understanding of financial statements, cash flows, valuation and returns.
- Judgement, rigour and pace. The ability to break down unfamiliar problems, challenge assumptions and deliver dependable work with incomplete information.
- Clear communication. The ability to explain financial conclusions simply to technical, commercial and non-financial colleagues.
- Relevant education and languages. A degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field; fluent English and Romanian.
