Job Summary
As a Vice President of Product Management in Total Rewards, Global Pay& Time, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of employees, managers, and business stakeholders and developing products that provide measurable customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide successful launches, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier employee and manager experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, data quality, and stability, you collaborate closely with Time and Absence Product Managers, technology, data product, operations, and functional partners to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
This Vice President role reports directly to the Executive Director who owns Global Time and will lead the Attendance product within Total Rewards, Global Pay & Time. The role owns existing employee and manager Attendance experiences, operational product support, and the roadmap for expanding Attendance capabilities and populations. The Product Manager will define which data should be used, establish appropriate product requirements and controls, investigate data-quality and calculation issues, and identify opportunities to connect Attendance insights with Time, Absence, the Manager Portal, and other employee experiences. The role will engage senior functional leaders directly to gather feedback, align the long-term Attendance strategy with the Function Leader’s plans, and translate priorities into an executable roadmap. Success requires strong product judgment and sufficient technical fluency to work closely with technology and data product teams on a deep, complex dataset.
Job responsibilities
- Develops the Attendance product strategy and vision, aligned with the Attendance Function Leader’s plans and the broader Global Time strategy
- Manages discovery and research with employees, managers, senior leaders, and functional partners to uncover needs and integrate solutions into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables delivery against the strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks key success metrics, including adoption, data quality, calculation accuracy, customer outcomes, risk posture, reliability, and operational performance
- Owns and evolves existing employee and manager Attendance experiences, including - Attendance dashboards, nudges, communications, exclusions, and supporting workflows
- Partners closely with Global Time and Absence Product Managers to create coherent experiences and identify opportunities to use Attendance data across Time and Absence processes
- Works with technology and data product teams to investigate inconsistent calculations, data-quality issues, downstream dependencies, and production incidents
- Shapes opportunities to expand Attendance capabilities to additional populations and use cases, including manager insights and pre-population of time-tracking experiences
- Engages senior functional leadership directly to gather feedback, facilitate prioritization, communicate trade-offs, and secure alignment on roadmap decisions
- Provides clear product governance and operational oversight for Attendance issues, support channels, exclusions, releases, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate a long-term product strategy and translate it into a prioritized, executable roadmap
- Strong data literacy, with experience defining data requirements, evaluating data quality, and using analytics to inform product decisions
- Technical fluency sufficient to partner with engineering, architecture, and data product teams on complex datasets, integrations, and production issues
- Experience designing or managing employee, manager, workforce, or enterprise digital experiences
- Proven ability to engage senior leaders, gather direct feedback, influence decisions, and align stakeholders with differing priorities
- Strong risk and controls mindset, including sound judgment regarding data use, privacy, access, validation, and operational governance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex data and technology topics clear to business audiences
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and lead cross-functional delivery in a fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Experience with attendance, time, absence, workforce management, workplace, or HR technology products
- Familiarity with workforce data, badge or location data, attendance models, or similarly complex data domains
- Experience partnering with data product teams and translating business use cases into data and integration requirements
- Experience managing products that serve both employee and manager personas across multiple countries or business areas
- Knowledge of agile product management practices, product analytics, experimentation, and product operating models
- Ability to identify strategic connections across Attendance, Time, Absence, manager tools, and the broader employee experience
