Job Description

BETSOL is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to lead QA Automation tasks. In this role, you will help set and maintain high quality standards for all website updates and releases. You will create test plans, test scripts, and process documents. You will work with teams across the company to run and verify test cases, based on quality requirements, and suggest improvements when needed. Your work will make sure each release meets quality standards, works correctly, and is easy for users to navigate. We are looking for someone with experience testing consumer-facing websites. The Web Team manages the main marketing website, and you will work as part of a scrum team focused on delivering high‑quality work that meets business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, document, and maintain QA Automation
  • Perform functional testing, data validations, and regression testing
  • Help create and improve standards, best practices, and processes for QA testing
  • Run all QA automation tests and act on the results, including investigating issues and driving follow-up work
  • Take ownership of designing and guiding testing tasks, not just completing them
  • Ensure clean releases by regression testing existing functionality
  • Identify issues, analyze their impact, and help prioritize them
  • Ensure new functionality meets all requirements of the functional specifications
  • Contribute in Scrum activities including Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, and Daily Scrums
  • Stay involved in every stage of each ticket as it moves through the sprint
  • Work closely with team members from all areas, including developers, QA, and marketing
  • Create and maintain test cases, and convert them into automation tests when appropriate
  • Use tools like Jira and Confluence to log bugs, track progress, and report test results
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, along with strong interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of QA Automation experience with Playwright, Selenium, JavaScript, and Python
  • At least 2 years of QA experience working with CMS platforms (such as Sitecore, AEM, DNN, Umbraco, Drupal, etc.); Sitecore experience is highly preferred
  • Strong technical skills to create and run test scripts for a wide variety of scenarios such as smoke, functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing (but not limited to these)
  • Hands on experience with cross-browser testing
  • Knowledge of test simulation tools (Lambdatest experience preferred)
  • QA testing experience in an Agile development environment
  • Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools is preferred
