We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our MPRS & Smart Mining team.
Reporting to the Superintendent – MPRS & Smart Mining, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing our Mining Production Reporting System (MPRS), mining databases, data warehouse, Snowflake, Business Objects and Power BI environments.
You will work closely with Mining Operations and IT stakeholders to ensure accurate production reporting, maintain critical business systems, and deliver data-driven insights that support operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain and support MPRS, mining databases and reporting platforms.
- Manage, audit and improve mining production data from Fleet Management and other mining systems.
- Gather business requirements and recommend process and system improvements.
- Develop reports, dashboards and KPIs using Power BI, Business Objects and SQL.
- Collaborate with operational teams, IT and external vendors to deliver business solutions.
- Support project delivery, user training and change management initiatives.
About you:
- Previous experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong SQL, Power BI and Business Objects experience.
- Experience with Snowflake, data warehouses, MineStar and Surface Manager databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical discipline.
- Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence.
