Junior Full Stack Engineer (Java + React)

We're looking for a motivated Full Stack Engineer who enjoys working across the stack, learning new technologies, and contributing to a variety of projects.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java and React.
- Build and consume REST APIs and integrate with third-party systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies.
- Contribute to AI-enabled applications and workflows.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing platform enhancements.
- Work across multiple projects and technologies as business needs evolve.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java and modern backend frameworks (Spring Boot preferred).
- Strong experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote and in-person team members.
- Must be located in Utah and able to come into the Sandy office occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/LLM technologies, including OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
