Principal UX Designer — JAGGAERAbout the Role

JAGGAER is looking for an accomplished Principal UX Designer to join our Product Design team and help shape the future of our enterprise software experiences.This is a senior individual contributor and highly hands-on design role for an experienced designer who combines exceptional UX and product design craft with systems thinking, strategic problem solving, and the ability to influence teams across the organization.

As a Principal UX Designer at JAGGAER, you will tackle some of our most complex and strategically important experience challenges across our Source-to-Pay product portfolio. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Research, and business stakeholders to simplify complex procurement workflows and create intuitive, cohesive, and scalable experiences for our customers.

This is not an advisory-only role. You will remain deeply involved in the design work, taking complex problems from discovery and concept development through detailed interaction and visual design. You will move comfortably between strategy and execution—helping establish experience direction while personally translating that direction into high-quality product experiences.

Principal Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design of complex experiences across JAGGAER’s enterprise product portfolio.• Stay hands-on, creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, and high-fidelity designs.• Simplify complex procurement workflows and business requirements into intuitive, scalable experiences.• Partner closely with Product and Engineering from discovery through implementation.• Help define experience vision and influence product direction across teams and products.• Identify opportunities to improve consistency and create more connected experiences across JAGGAER’s Source-to-Pay ecosystem.• Facilitate design workshops and critiques to drive alignment and improve design quality.• Mentor other designers and help elevate design craft and practices across the team.• Contribute to and champion JAGGAER’s design system, UX standards, accessibility, and usability.

Position Requirements

• Extensive experience in UX or product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and hands-on execution.• Strong experience designing enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or complex workflow-based products.• Exceptional interaction design and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex experiences.• Ability to work across both high-level experience strategy and detailed product design.• Strong systems thinking and experience designing across connected products and workflows.• Proven ability to collaborate with and influence Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders.• Strong communication, facilitation, and design storytelling skills.• Experience mentoring designers and providing thoughtful design direction and critique.• Strong knowledge of design systems and advanced proficiency with Figma.• Experience with procurement, Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, ERP, fintech, or related enterprise domains is a plus.

You will help define what JAGGAER’s product experience should become while personally helping design how we get there. You will connect customer needs, procurement workflows, business strategy, product capabilities, and technology into a cohesive experience—and translate that thinking into tangible, high-quality design solutions.

You will not operate solely as an advisor or reviewer. You will actively own and produce design work for important product initiatives while providing direction and mentorship that raises the quality of the broader team.

Your impact will come from both the experiences you directly design and the design quality, standards, and thinking you elevate across JAGGAER.

The Principal UX Designer leads through a combination of hands-on craft, strategic thinking, influence, mentorship, and systems thinking, rather than formal people-management authority.
