Responsibilities:

Responsible for the preparation, creation, and delivery of operational and analytical data solutions for our business users/partners. Interpret various requests, map data, and create/develop necessary data pipelines to ensure that data is accessible in our Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse (BI/DW) environment. Support and partner with data analysts and business users to understand/interpret their business reporting and analytic needs and align Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions to meet those needs. Contribute to all phases of system delivery, including requirements, design, development, training, data conversion, testing and maintenance to achieve the successful development and implementation of the customer's business need. Work within the Enterprise Data Warehouse delivery team which includes architects, other developers, and Bl administrators to build, test and roll-out Data Warehouse projects and enhancements in an agile environment. Independently create deliverables such as functional requirements, logical data models and supporting data mapping documentation that are easily understood, thorough, and accurate. Work closely with other IT teams and subject matter experts regarding source system applications to better understand the business functionality and data content for utilization downstream in the Data Warehouse. Work closely Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse experts (such as ETL and Bl architects) to translate data requirements into logical data models that provide optimal Bl solutions. Provide quality assurance support for Data Warehouse projects and enhancements to ensure that Data Warehouse provides reliable data. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve any data quality issues reported by the business.

Requirements:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline and 2 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer or similar role working in a Data Warehouse or similar environment or a Master’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

This position also requires experience with:

Coding: programming languages such as Python, Scala, and SQL is essential.

Data Warehousing: Experience with data warehousing solutions like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.

Database Systems: Knowledge of relational (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).

ETL Tools: ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools like dbt, SSIS, Coalesce, or Informatica.

Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

Operating Systems: operating systems like Linux and Windows.

Annual Base Salary: $96,928 / year + bonus eligibility
