The Database Administrator designs, implements, and maintains moderately complex databases. This role is responsible for maintaining database dictionaries, ensuring the integration of systems through effective database design, and administering and testing computer databases by applying a deep knowledge of database management systems. Additionally, the Database Administrator coordinates changes to computer databases and may plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases.
Maintain database dictionaries and ensure the integration of various systems through effective database design.
Administer and test computer databases, utilizing knowledge of database management systems.
Coordinate changes to computer databases to ensure data integrity and system efficiency.
Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to protect computer databases from unauthorized access or data breaches.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge and experience in database management systems.
Ability to design and maintain complex databases.
Experience with database administration and testing.
Knowledge of security measures and techniques to safeguard computer databases.
Excellent coordination and communication skills to manage database changes and integration.
Bachelors required
Minimum 10 years experience
Security Clearance requirement:
Must possess active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for this role.
