Overview

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst – Application Modernization & DevOps to serve as a bridge between application teams, cloud engineering, and DevOps delivery teams during cloud migration and modernization efforts. The primary focus is not business process redesign, but rather ensuring applications can be successfully built, tested, released, and operated using modern engineering practices while preserving existing functionality and performance.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile delivery practices.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git repositories, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management.

• Knowledge of branching, merging, source control governance, and deployment strategies.

• Experience documenting current-state and future-state application delivery processes.

• Ability to analyze technical workflows and identify modernization opportunities without altering business functionality.

• Familiarity with cloud migration projects and application lifecycle modernization.

• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills across technical and business teams.

• Experience supporting quality assurance, performance validation, and production readiness activities.

Primary Focus Areas

• Build, test, and release process modernization.

• CI/CD pipeline design and deployment readiness.

• Branching strategy, repository governance, and development lifecycle standards.

• Functional validation and regression planning.

• Application performance and operational readiness reviews.

• Coordination between developers, testers, cloud teams, and product stakeholders.

• Documentation of deployment, support, and operational procedure

Additional Information

Pay Range: $140,000 - $180,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
