Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative reporting to the Business Development Manager, Americas, you'll play a critical role in generating qualified pipeline and accelerating growth across global financial institutions for Nasdaq FinTech solutions.

You bring strong communication skills, a global mindset, and a passion for financial services, technology, and building meaningful customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification across target financial institutions.
  • Execute account-based prospecting strategies by identifying key stakeholders, business priorities, and growth opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, objectives, and buying processes.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Partners, and Solution teams to drive pipeline creation and support revenue growth.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, track activities, and continuously optimize outreach strategies to improve performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales Development, Inside Sales, or Enterprise Prospecting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, qualify, and prioritize opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS, FinTech, capital markets, banking, risk, compliance, or regulatory technology solutions.
  • Understanding of financial institutions, capital markets, or broader financial services ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, SPICED, Challenger, or similar frameworks.

This position will be located in New York and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $71,000 - $121,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
