ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Controls Manager will be responsible to lead the Project Controls team (Schedulers, Cost Analysts and Project Controls Specialists) The Manager will have an advanced understanding of Earned Value Management, Critical Path Method Scheduling and Estimated at Completion Cost calculations. The Project Controls Manager must be able to perform all duties of the Scheduler, Cost Analyst and Project Controls Specialist and shall be able to backfill duties during times of absence. The Project Controls Manager will set direction and plans for the team and will be the first point of escalation and decision making when the Project Controls team encounters an issue. The Manager will frequently present findings and analysis to District Sr Leadership and will frequently interface as the lead with clients (both internal and external).

EPC
MYRE serves customers participating in a nationwide engineer-procure-construct (EPC) delivery. We work on a wide range of projects and EPC contracting services, including large transmission and substation projects, complete solar facilities, and energy storage.
Essential Functions
- Provide guidance and direction to assigned project controls staff in areas of scheduling, cost controls, change management, and claims analysis
- Interface with clients, and resolve complex project controls issues as they evolve throughout the project life cycle
- Develop for Project Control Policies and Procedures to standardize across regions for review by management
- Develop protocols for reporting project key performance indicators for review by management on a project by project basis.
- Develop strategies to avoid and defend claims
- Oversee cost management functions including earned value analysis, financial and cash flow forecasting as applicable
- Leads training and development of professionals in all facets of concepts and software
- Prepare, coordinate, and deliver project controls presentations to internal management and to client, as required
- Facilitate Lean tools and trainings for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist satellite offices with tools and training to ensure quick onboarding
- Work with IT to integrate systems used by departments to streamline information and suggest the utilization of similar software applications.

- Minimum 4 years of experience is required
- Significant experience with Oracle Primavera P6
- Significant experience with Bluebeam Revu
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree

- Salary $76,377-$129,077 / year• Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
