Title and Summary

Senior Specialist, Product Management - Fintech Scanner, Business Intelligence Innovate

Overview: The role will lead initiatives to support the growth and scalability of the Business Intelligence Innovate product - Fintech Scanner globally.

Role:

  • Develops and manages content for the Fintech Scanner product - including development of research reports, planning and executing events (virtual and n-person)
  • Contributes towards the development of strategies and programs for large, strategically important global clients
  • Obtain data from multiple sources, collate, analyse and triangulate information to develop reliable fact bases and reports
  • Apply a range of quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques to rigorously identify client issues and synthesise the analysis into clear, sound recommendations
  • Structure and prepare draft reports and client steering committee presentations
  • Present draft reports to key stakeholders for review and feedback
  • Extract intellectual capital from engagement work and actively develop and share tools, methods and best practices across projects
  • Build network of contacts and internal relationships across Mastercard to support information gathering and data analysis
  • Support product roadmap implementation activities with the global Product Management team
  • Support sales team as product specialists, providing sales enablement materials/trainings and support when needed
  • Consolidate product feedback received by markets (or by customer success managers) and provide product improvement recommendations
  • Support product new launch across different regions: prepare the product for the launch, support product awareness, identify users target and support technical onboarding

All About You:

  • Connection to the fintech community and “startup world” a distinct advantage
  • Executive-level presentation skills—must have persuasive “presence” and ability to effectively communicate technology to business people and business to technology people.
  • Understanding / experience of innovation frameworks and practical technology application experience. Payments technology knowledge or experience in the industry would be an advantage.
  • Leadership skills—must be able to influence others and navigate complex relationship scenarios & must be able to influence others without direct reporting relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally
