Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Experience using AI tools throughout the design process.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
  • 2 years of experience leading design projects.
  • Experience designing for emerging AI technologies like Large Language Models (LLMs), generative media, agentic systems, or multimodal AI interactions.
  • Experience using AI-accelerated workflows and AI-assisted development tools throughout the design process.
  • Experience basing design decisions in UX Research insights.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Create clear, intuitive user flows and state behaviors. Design frameworks for human-AI collaboration.
  • Translate research and AI model capabilities into functional, interactive prototypes using AI-assisted coding and tools.
  • Deliver polished designs, considering layouts, motion, and interaction patterns by applying Google's material design system.
  • Partner closely with researchers, engineers, Product Managers, and subject matter experts to translate technical constraints into intuitive user experiences.
  • Navigate fast-moving research environments by using prototypes and designs to quickly test hypotheses and iterate based on feedback.
