abra R&D is seeking a DevOps Engineer.
We are looking for a DevOps & Automation Engineer to join our team in Tel Aviv/Jerusalem.
In this position, you will develop Azure DevOps and automation capabilities with practical proficiency in AI tools.
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining pipelines, scripts, and agents for validating Azure hardware and firmware platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and owning CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including YAML, templates, and machine allocation flow.
- Writing automation in PowerShell and Python for lab bring-up processes, firmware/driver validation, and remote control of hardware components.
- Applying AI for problem detection: Building and extending AI agents for failure analysis, build summarization, and report generation.
- Analyzing telemetry using Kusto/KQL to identify trends and regressions.
- Integrating ADO, Teams, and dashboards for automated information flow.
- Reducing manual work by automating repetitive processes and enabling self-service.
Requirements
- Practical proficiency in using AI tools and agent frameworks (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for building automation.
- Expertise and deep practical experience in Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML), Repos, and REST APIs.
- Strong scripting capabilities in PowerShell and Python for writing clean, tested, and maintainable code.
- Discipline in working with Git, including branching strategies and PR reviews.
- Debugger mindset and ability to identify the root cause of issues in complex systems.
- Proactive approach – ability to identify manual tasks and automate them.
- Ability to work independently and deliver well-documented and reliable code.
Advantages:
- Experience with Kusto/KQL and telemetry analysis.
- Familiarity with hardware/firmware validation processes, DPUs/SmartNICs, or lab infrastructure.
- Experience in building internal copilots or chatbots.
- Familiarity with Node.js/TypeScript.
- Basic understanding of cloud services (Azure compute, networking, identity).
