Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Workday Compensation Consultant with a strong background in configuring, and optimizing Workday Compensation solutions. The ideal candidate will have spent the majority of the last couple of years working within the Workday HCM ecosystem, partnering closely with HR, Total Rewards, Compensation leaders, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and impactful compensation programs.

This role requires a consultative mindset, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and deep functional expertise in Workday Compensation processes, annual compensation reviews, merit planning, bonus planning, and compensation governance.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Independently configuration, and optimization of Workday Compensation solutions.
• Configure and maintain compensation plans, eligibility rules, compensation grades, packages, and business processes.
• Support annual compensation cycles including merit, bonus, equity, and promotional planning.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve compensation-related processes through Workday capabilities.
• Partner with HR Technology and Workday teams to implement enhancements and new functionality.

• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, risks, priorities, and change impacts throughout project lifecycles.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Develop documentation, training materials, and process guides as required.

 

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of recent Workday HCM Suite experience, with a strong focus on Compensation.

• Workday Pro HCM Certification (Good to have)
• Workday Pro Compensation Certification (Good to have)
• Experience with other Workday modules such as:
