[What the role is]
JTC's Digital Transformation Division drives the digitalisation of business operations, enabling smarter planning, development, estate management, and enterprise services through technology, data, and digital innovation. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for shaping, delivering, and continuously improving digital products and platform services that support JTC's business objectives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, users, architects, engineers, and vendors to define product priorities, deliver enhancements, and ensure solutions continue to create value for users and the organisation. In addition to product ownership responsibilities, the role will oversee vendor delivery, project coordination, and contract administration for assigned products and platforms.
[What you will be working on]
Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Partner business stakeholders to understand operational needs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Define and maintain product vision, roadmap, priorities, and release plans aligned to business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into clear product backlogs and delivery outcomes.
- Drive product adoption, benefits realisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, gather user feedback, and validate solutions with end users.
- Monitor product performance, user satisfaction, and business outcomes through data and operational metrics.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Act as the key point of contact between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
Vendor Delivery and Project Management
- Coordinate delivery activities across internal teams and external vendors.
- Track project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and release schedules.
- Support procurement activities, contract administration, and vendor performance management.
- Ensure timely delivery of enhancements, fixes, and new capabilities.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and decision-making to resolve delivery issues.
- Support transition of implemented solutions into operational support.
Governance, Operations and Planning
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and expenditure monitoring, audits for assigned products.
- Ensure compliance with JTC governance, cybersecurity, and technology standards.
- Manage risks and support audit, compliance, and operational readiness activities.
- Work with enterprise architects and platform teams to ensure alignment with approved technology principles and standards.
- Contribute to annual workplans and product investment proposals.
[What we are looking for]
- Background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Business Analytics, or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Product Management
- Business Analysis
- Digital Transformation
- Enterprise Applications
- Project Delivery
- Platform Management
- Experience working with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical digital solutions.
- Experience managing product backlogs, requirements, priorities, and releases.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and modern software development practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise platforms, business applications, workflow systems, or digital services.
- Knowledge of cloud, analytics, automation, AI, or enterprise platforms would be advantageous.
- Relevant certifications such as Scrum Product Owner, Agile, PMP, CITPM, Business Analysis, or Cloud certifications will be advantageous.
