We're looking for a passionate Finance & Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in supporting business planning, performance analysis, budgeting and forecasting activities. This is an excellent opportunity if you enjoy partnering with stakeholders, solving complex business problems, and transforming data into meaningful insights.

In this role, you will work closely with leaders across the business, providing financial and commercial analysis that supports decision-making and drives performance. You'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with stakeholders at varying levels and develop your capability to partner with increasingly senior leaders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver financial and commercial reporting, analysis and insights to support business performance and decision-making.
  • Monitor performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers, variances and trends.
  • Support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities through accurate analysis and financial modelling.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, presentations and business performance updates for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business cases, commercial evaluations and scenario modelling.
  • Partner with operational and corporate stakeholders to understand business needs and provide financial insights.
  • Respond to ad hoc analysis requests and provide recommendations to support business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, financial models and data quality.
  • Present findings and recommendations in a clear and engaging way to stakeholders.

What you bring to the role

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.

To be successful, you will have the following skills & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
  • CA or CPA qualification, or progress towards completion, is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in a financial analysis, commercial analysis or business partnering environment.
  • Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Excellent financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to analyse data, solve problems and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Confidence building relationships and partnering with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • A genuine desire to develop your stakeholder engagement skills and work with more senior business leaders.
