Senior Business Analyst – Remediation

  • 12-month, Max-Term, full-time position (open to Sydney or Melbourne candidates)

Your New Role

Are you an experienced remediation professional who enjoys solving complex problems, working with large datasets and driving fair outcomes for customers?

As Senior Business Analyst – Remediation, you'll join a highly established and respected remediation function that delivers some of the largest and most complex remediation programs in the industry. Working with proven methodologies, strong governance frameworks and excellent training, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your remediation expertise while contributing to meaningful outcomes for members and the Fund.

You'll lead business analysis activities across remediation initiatives, helping define methodologies, analyse impacts, develop recommendations and ensure remediation outcomes are delivered honestly, efficiently and fairly. Success in this role requires curiosity, strong analytical thinking and a willingness to challenge assumptions, uncover insights and translate complex information into clear recommendations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead business analysis activities across complex remediation initiatives from scoping through to implementation.
  • Analyse incidents, define remediation methodologies and support member communication and payment approaches.
  • Work with large datasets to identify impacts, uncover insights and support decision-making.
  • Develop remediation documentation, governance artefacts and stakeholder recommendations.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and drive delivery outcomes across multiple initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve remediation processes, efficiency and scalability.

What You'll Need

  • Strong experience delivering remediation initiatives within Financial Services, ideally Superannuation.
  • Demonstrated business analysis experience across remediation, risk, compliance or regulatory programs.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience analysing large datasets to identify trends, insights and root causes.
  • Strong documentation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A curious, self-starting mindset with a willingness to challenge assumptions and drive evidence-based decisions.
  • Experience working within complex, highly regulated environments and managing competing priorities.

Highly regarded:

  • Knowledge of RG277 or predecessor remediation guidance.
  • Understanding of the Royal Commission findings and their impacts on Financial Services.
  • Superannuation industry experience and/or large-scale customer remediation programs.
  • Experience using AI tools to support analysis, documentation and productivity.
