Job Description

• Based on application-product expertise and technical excellence the power semiconductor product manager (PRM) provides in-depth support for ME-PM product portfolio with focusing on products including chips, discretes and power modules in non-auto applications, incl. energy storage system (ESS), NEV charging and Photovoltaic applications, etc:

o Develop in depth technical understanding of our products and datasheet parameters

o Contributes to building up a future proof product portfolio by capturing key industrial application requirements and trends, focusing on ESS, charging and photovoltaic

o Provide customers’ input into technology capability roadmap

• The PRM supports design-in activities and collects customers’ demands of above mentioned power semiconductor products (at defined customers, market segments, especially non-automotive applications, with sales colleagues and distribution partners, etc):

o Market study and investigate opportunity in related non-automotive applications fit for above mentioned power semiconductor products

o Visit customers and lead new products and applications pre-selling and design-in at customers side with business development spirit and technical support

o Transfer ME-PM SiC products advantages to customers’ application benefit

• The PRM supports power semiconductor related cooperation and partnership topics in China:

o Supports partners’ evaluation and analysis

• Industrial application market intelligence, competitors analysis and market trend observation and lead new application business field analysis

• Other PRM work, e.g. high level meeting material preparation, definition of promotion contents

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Commercial and Engineering in an electronics or physics related subject

• Experience in the semiconductor industry, with strong application orientation in ESS, Solar and charging

• Good technical understanding to SiC semiconductors, e.g. SiC bare die, discrete and module

• A deep technical understanding from the customers’ applications down to the product features and product & packaging development process

• Very good written & spoken English

• Convincing communication and presentation skills to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.

• High self-motivation for business creation and business success

• Able to work independently in close connection with China and global teams
