We are looking for an experienced and strategic professional to contribute to the growth of a BFSI-focused education and leadership development institution based in Mumbai. The role will involve working in a high-growth environment focused on developing industry-ready talent and building strong relationships across the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen, stakeholder-management capabilities, and experience working with senior professionals, institutions, or organisations within the BFSI ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities• Develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with organisational growth and long-term objectives.
- Build and manage relationships with senior BFSI professionals, industry leaders, corporate organisations, and strategic partners.
- Identify and develop opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and business growth across the BFSI ecosystem.
- Work closely with leadership teams to evaluate market opportunities, industry trends, and emerging business priorities.
- Develop strong engagement models with banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, fintechs, and other relevant organisations.
- Lead strategic projects from conceptualisation through execution, ensuring clear timelines, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement initiatives that enhance institutional visibility, industry engagement, and business impact.
- Represent the organisation in meetings, industry forums, partnerships, and senior stakeholder discussions.
- Develop presentations, business proposals, strategic plans, and executive-level communication materials.
- Monitor BFSI industry developments, market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
- Establish processes and frameworks that support scalable growth and long-term institutional development.
- Work with senior leadership to solve complex business challenges and drive high-impact initiatives.
- Build a strong network across the BFSI ecosystem and leverage relationships to create strategic opportunities.
What Makes You a Great Fit• 8+ years of professional experience in strategy, business development, partnerships, consulting, BFSI, education, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) ecosystem.
- Proven experience working with senior stakeholders, CXOs, industry leaders, or institutional decision-makers.
- Strong track record of building strategic partnerships and developing new business opportunities.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and execution capabilities.
- Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to identify and evaluate growth opportunities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to operate comfortably in a senior, high-ownership role with significant autonomy.
- Strong networking capabilities and the ability to build trusted relationships across the BFSI industry.
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and working closely with senior leadership.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, take ownership, and convert strategic ideas into measurable outcomes.
- Passion for BFSI, leadership development, professional education, and building industry-academia or industry-talent ecosystems.
