Full description

WHO WE ARE

Digify is a cloud-based document security and virtual data room platform that helps organizations control, protect, and track sensitive documents after they're shared. Companies use Digify for fundraising, M&A, due diligence, and secure collaboration — and everything runs natively in the browser, with no software to install.

Today Digify is trusted by more than 800,000 professionals across 138 countries, including teams at BCG, ByteDance, Mastercard, and LinkedIn.

THE ROLE

LOCATION: SINGAPORE

We're looking for a Product Designer who designs by building. Not someone who hands off static mockups and waits — someone who takes a product decision and turns it into a working, testable prototype using AI tools, fast.

Our product solves a genuinely hard design problem: making powerful security controls — data rooms, granular permissions, digital rights management, audit logs, dynamic watermarking — feel simple and intuitive. Your job is to reduce that complexity into experiences people understand instantly.

This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role. You'll partner closely with our Platform Pod Lead, who owns feature decisions, and turn those decisions into UX flows and working prototypes so the team can see and test ideas before we commit engineering time. Rather than writing lengthy specs, you reduce uncertainty through prototypes, user feedback, and iteration.

A note on how we work: You'll have a clear partner in the Platform Pod Lead, but a lot of independence in how you get from a feature decision to a tested prototype — that path is yours to own. We're also in a phase where roles here stay fluid: designers will influence product direction, and product will shape design. If you want a strict lane, this isn't it. If you want to help define both the product and how it's built, you'll thrive.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Partner with the Platform Pod Lead to take feature decisions and own their translation into UX flows and working prototypes.
  • Build realistic, interactive prototypes with AI tools (such as Claude Design) that users can actually experience and test.
  • Simplify complex security and permission workflows into intuitive, browser-native experiences.
  • Run lightweight user interviews and usability tests, and turn feedback into better designs quickly.
  • Design user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, and production-ready components.
  • Work closely with engineers through development so the shipped product matches the intended experience.
  • Continuously improve our design system and reusable UI components.
  • Stay current with modern interaction patterns and evolving AI design tooling.
  • 3–6+ years designing SaaS or web applications.
  • Proven ability to build working prototypes with AI tools — such as Claude Design. We need someone who ships functional prototypes with AI tools today, not someone curious to learn. Your portfolio should show AI-built prototypes, not just polished screens. (Comfort with Figma is helpful but not the focus.)
  • Strong end-to-end product thinking: discovery, interaction design, and information architecture — not just UI.
  • Ability to simplify complex, multi-step workflows into intuitive experiences.
  • Comfort working close to code. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should understand HTML, CSS, and JavaScript well enough to prototype in the browser and collaborate credibly with engineers.
  • Comfortable running lightweight user testing and translating insights into design decisions.
  • Strong communication — able to explain design choices with user insight, data, and product goals.
  • High autonomy and comfort with ambiguity. You can take a rough decision and run with it without waiting to be told how.

Bonus Points

  • Experience designing enterprise or B2B products, ideally in complex or security-sensitive domains.
  • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
  • Understanding of accessibility and responsive design.
  • Experience working closely with engineering in an agile SaaS environment.

Why This Role is Different

At Digify, designers don't just create screens — they help shape the product. You'll turn decisions into prototypes, put them in front of real customers, influence product direction early, and work directly with engineers to ship. We believe the fastest way to build the right product is to validate ideas before writing production code — and right now, you'll have the autonomy to do exactly that.
