Java Developer (2+ Years Experience)
Location: Newcastle (5 days onsite or willingness to relocate)

What You’ll Be Doing:• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Java as your core language
- Build and support backend services and integrate with SQL databases
- Apply best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimisation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Tech Stack You’ll Be Using:• Languages: Java (primary), SQL, Python
- Frameworks & Tools: Spring Boot, REST APIs
- Cloud: AWS
- Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Collaboration: Git, Jira, Confluence
What We’re Looking For:• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java development (commercial experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Experience working with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
- Exposure to Python for scripting or automation is beneficial
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience working in agile development environments
- Ability to work onsite in Newcastle 5 days a week or relocate
