Reporting to the Director, Segments & Growth, the Senior Manager, Customer Growth Strategy is responsible for leading the product and digital strategy for the priority segment to accelerate acquisition, deepen customer engagement, and improve retention.

This role will work closely with Product, Digital, Marketing, Analytics, and Technology partners to enhance BMO’s priority segment value proposition, drive product innovation, and deliver seamless digital experiences that meet the evolving needs of newcomers.

As a people leader, the successful candidate will lead a team responsible for product and digital growth initiatives while driving performance against key segment growth objectives.

Typical Day Might Include

  • Build and deliver end-to-end strategies that drive segment acquisition, with a focus on product and digital innovation.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance everyday banking products, offers, and customer value propositions for priority segment.
  • Partner with Product and Digital teams to influence roadmaps and drive customer-centric innovation.
  • Lead initiatives that improve onboarding, digital journeys, and establish best in class customer experience.
  • Develop compelling business cases, recommendations, and executive presentations to influence strategic decisions.
  • Leverage customer insights, market trends, and analytics to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of major initiatives and go-to-market strategies.
  • Establish KPIs and performance measures to monitor business impact and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in financial services, banking, product management, digital strategy, or innovation roles.
  • Strong experience with retail banking and everyday banking products.
  • Proven experience delivering product enhancements and customer experience improvements that drive business growth.
  • Experience working across Digital, Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Technology teams.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional stakeholders in a complex organization.
  • Experience developing growth strategies, business cases, and executive presentations.
  • Previous people leadership experience considered an asset.
  • MBA or Master's degree considered an asset.

Salary:

$94,600.00 - $176,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
