OBJECTIVE:
Under the supervision of the Director, Digital Commerce, the Digital Commerce Data Analyst is responsible for transforming ecommerce, customer, merchandising, and digital marketing data into actionable business insights that drive commercial performance and support data-driven decision making across the Digital Commerce organization.
Working closely with the Ecommerce Manager, this role analyzes ecommerce performance, customer behavior, merchandising effectiveness, and digital customer journeys to identify opportunities that improve conversion, revenue, and the overall digital customer experience. The role develops reporting, delivers actionable recommendations, and measures the impact of digital initiatives to support continuous optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze ecommerce performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion, revenue, and overall ecommerce performance.
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards and business performance reporting for Digital Commerce stakeholders.
- Monitor key ecommerce KPIs and proactively identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Analyze customer behavior, onsite journeys, and shopping patterns to support Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives.
- Partner with the Ecommerce Manager to identify optimization opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and measure business impact.
- Partner with the Web Merchandiser to analyze merchandising performance and identify opportunities to improve product discoverability, search performance, and online sales.
- Evaluate the performance of onsite content, campaigns, promotions, and customer journeys, providing actionable recommendations to improve results.
- Measure and analyze A/B testing initiatives and communicate insights to support continuous optimization.
- Partner with the CRM team to analyze customer acquisition, segmentation, retention, and lifecycle performance.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of ecommerce reporting and analytics data.
- Present business insights and recommendations through dashboards, reports, and presentations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Continuously improve reporting capabilities, analytics processes, and business intelligence tools to support business growth.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ecommerce analytics, digital analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- Experience analyzing ecommerce performance, customer behavior, and digital marketing performance.
- Experience developing executive dashboards, performance reporting, and business analysis.
- Experience supporting data-driven decision making within an ecommerce or retail environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
