The Principal Data Analyst will reside in the B2B Business Analytics group as part of the Chief Analytics org. The B2B Business Analytics team owns the core operational and insights analytics function for the Dealer Business Unit, CARFAX for Police, and Car Care business units; this role supports our Dealer Business Unit impact.
This individual will have significant experience supporting senior management helping them better align our seasonal and long-term goal setting with the operational actuals of the organization. You will offer perspective & recommendations grounded in data. Your analysis work will help inform, reinforce, or refute management assumptions. You have a broad understanding of the different functions of a B2B SaaS business and have demonstrated familiarity with a variety of business functions (sales, account management, rev ops, product, finance) helping leaders run their teams more efficiently.
You are a subject matter expert in data and business analysis. You thrive at the intersection of a variety of data content types (billing, product usage, engagement, employee activity), effectively stitching data together to reveal their impact on outcomes. You help companies understand how people-processes and the data they generate relate to data insights and our ability to deliver compelling, trusted information. You are comfortable presenting findings that may go counter to established intuition. You adeptly pivot information delivery to your audience, describing how their scope of responsibility affects the broader business goals.

What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years hands on experience in data
- 3+ years supporting management/executive teams either informally or as a Team Lead or Chief of Staff
- 2+ years in a Sales or Sales Ops-adjacent role (or analytics support)
- 3+ years consolidating and analyzing CRM data in a B2B SaaS environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, which may include limited VBA or Macro exposure
- Advanced proficiency in either SQL
- Intermediate proficiency in R or Python for scripting end-to-end tasks

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on a variety of factors, including geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
