What you'll do

The Financial Analyst will support COGS financial reporting for the US geography of Global Fixed Broadband. Partner closely with customer support and operations teams to drive execution of initiatives across the organization. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to optimize operational spend.

*This is a hybrid, site-based role that offers the perfect blend of office collaboration and remote flexibility. Employees will work from our Carlsbad office at least 3 days (60%) per week within a standard five-day workweek, with the remaining days worked remotely.

The day-to-day

  • COGS Analysis: Partner with customer support and operations teams (Customer Care, Field Operations, Logistics, and Billing) to analyze and optimize operational expenses. Analyze trends, variances, and key drivers; provide clear insights to inform management and business partners on current performance relative to historical results and forecasts.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate the quarterly budget process and update monthly rolling forecasts for all supported business units.
  • Variance Analysis: Review monthly operational performance against targets and explain key variances in department costs.
  • Data Reporting: Prepare financial reports to help operational leaders manage their department spend. Assist in the preparation of materials for business review meetings and management roll-ups.
  • Procurement Support: Initiate, submit, and track POs through the internal approval pipeline to ensure accurate cost accruals

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of FP&A / corporate financial analysis experience, preferably supporting operations, supply chain, or customer service.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to develop KPIs, assess performance, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • US Citizenship is required

What will help you on the job

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint with a willingness to learn new data tools and systems.
  • Experience with financial forecasting software and SQL (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Planning)
  • Experience with ERP/procurement tools (e.g., Oracle, Ariba / Coupa).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with Finance, Operations, and business stakeholders, driving alignment and operational excellence.
  • Comfort analyzing large data sets and being able to communicate actionable conclusions.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines with accuracy.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter who takes ownership of work.

Salary range

$63,000.00 - $99,500.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $78,500.00- $117,500.00/ annually
