General Job Description:

ACCO relies on the use of different enterprise-level software packages that house and manage employee, financial, and job-related data. Accordingly, data accuracy and integrity are key components in the short- and long-term strength and growth plans for the company. This role will play a vital role in successfully executing and supporting business initiatives for the organization. This role entails successfully working with the Field, Accounting, Sales, and Operations teams across the company. This role provides the opportunity to work cross-functionally across the company. This role will assist in the maintenance and reporting of data and processes connected to these systems. This includes, but is not limited to, analyzing, cleansing, and cataloging data from the various sources and systems as well as delivering applicable training.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support, monitor systems, respond to queries, analyze, and escalate issues.
  • Provide training to the organization for new and current business systems.
  • Continuously identify issues with current business systems and processes
  • Work with senior-level analysts and managers to assist in the development of scalable solutions carefully evaluated for downstream impacts
  • Assist in identifying opportunities and participate in development of solutions for process improvement.
  • Work with senior-level analysts and managers to help define business requirements and scope of new solutions.
  • Build & manage relationships with internal business leaders, managers, and end users to gain a full understanding of processes and how the systems support their deliverables.
  • Collaborate with IT in the development and execution of solutions and in the development and testing of test scripts for software and process changes.
  • Research industry trends and technology advancements as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Technology, preferred.
  • Certifications in Business Analytics are a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field or a combination of education and experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, including general trades terminology and project workflows, preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office products.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Assists senior-level analysts in developing & presenting a strong business case complete with ROI.
  • Demonstrates a long-term approach to solutions.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to adapt to people and new processes.
  • Demonstrates appropriate discretion with sensitive information.
  • Demonstrates strength in troubleshooting issues with software and data.

  • Travel is up to 15 percent of the time as needed.

Hours:

This is a non-exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor, with a minimum thirty-minute and maximum one-hour break for lunch, and two rest breaks. Overtime may be necessary per business needs.

Competitive Wages:

$33 to $43 per hour. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
