Position Summary
This is an ONSITE position located in Alexandria, VA.
National Capitol Contracting is seeking a Program Analyst to join our team in support of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The USPTO fosters innovation and economic growth by administering the nation's patent and trademark systems. This position performs data analysis, reporting, metrics development, and operational analysis supporting Microsoft 365 Collaboration Tools Services. The role develops reporting solutions, analyzes operational trends, validates data, and provides analytical support for service delivery, operational performance, and continuous improvement activities.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Collect, analyze, validate, and interpret operational and service delivery data supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
- Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics for Government stakeholders.
- Analyze ServiceNow ticket trends, operational performance, service level objectives, and workload metrics.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, quality assurance, and root cause analysis supporting operational reporting.
- Support data extraction, transformation, and reporting from enterprise systems and Microsoft 365 platforms.
- Document analytical methodologies, reporting procedures, and operational findings.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement through quantitative analysis.
- Coordinate with engineering, service desk, and Government personnel to support reporting requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience analyzing operational or enterprise IT data.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Experience with Excel, SQL, Power BI, or comparable reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Power BI certification.
- Experience supporting Federal Government programs.
- Experience with ServiceNow reporting.
Compensation:
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00
