Full description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager, Client Services based in the United States.

This is a two-month temporary opportunity for an experienced project leader supporting complex client engagements in the eDiscovery space. The role combines project management, client consulting, workflow optimization, and cross-functional coordination. You will manage budgets, scope, timelines, communications, and delivery while helping clients identify efficient and effective paths forward. The position offers the opportunity to influence technology adoption, reduce costs, improve delivery speed, and strengthen overall client satisfaction. You will also support internal teams by developing workflows, sharing eDiscovery expertise, and serving as an escalation resource. Success requires strong judgment, communication, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environment. The role is fully remote, with occasional availability outside standard business hours potentially required.

Accountabilities:

  • Respond to client requests and provide expert consultation on project scope, execution, workflows, and solution delivery in line with industry best practices and established standards.
  • Manage client or case budgets while identifying approaches that reduce costs, accelerate delivery, improve quality, and maximize the effective use of available technologies.
  • Plan, monitor, and manage project communications across internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders, ensuring expectations around scope, responsibilities, and deadlines remain clear.
  • Initiate and coordinate client work by creating work orders for data processing, document review, production, and other project activities.
  • Manage projects through completion, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring solutions meet agreed objectives and delivery requirements.
  • Provide workflow consultation and contribute to the development, refinement, and implementation of project and operational standards.
  • Train and develop team members on eDiscovery workflows, best practices, and effective project execution.
  • Act as an internal escalation resource by developing a strong understanding of workflows, tools, documentation, and available solutions.
  • Identify issues, communicate risks, propose practical solutions, and help resolve conflicts between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the development of trusted client relationships that encourage repeat engagements and expanded opportunities.
  • Adapt priorities and project approaches as workloads, client requirements, and business needs evolve.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required; a Master’s degree or JD is a plus.
  • At least 6 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 4 years in eDiscovery project management.
  • At least 5 years of experience working within a law department, law firm, legal consulting organization, or eDiscovery provider.
  • Demonstrated experience with Relativity is required.
  • Strong knowledge of eDiscovery processes and the ability to design client and project solutions that leverage technology and efficient workflows.
  • Proven ability to identify approaches that reduce overall client costs, improve delivery speed, and enhance the quality of project outcomes.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including managing scope, budgets, timelines, priorities, stakeholders, and projects through successful completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions, communicate complex information, identify issues, propose solutions, and manage conflicts.
  • Strong client-facing and consulting skills, with the ability to establish trust and serve as a strategic advisor.
  • Ability to interpret and act on a wide range of written and verbal instructions while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability when managing changing priorities and growing or fluctuating workloads.
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn internal workflows, tools, standards, and documentation.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment and, when necessary, being available outside normal business hours, including evenings or weekends.
