About the Role
TechnoMile is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our team. In this hands-on technical role, you will support TechnoMile's SaaS solutions on the Salesforce platform for enterprise clients. You'll support Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integrations that configure, customize, and extend our products without compromising upgradeability. Working alongside consultants and architects, you'll ensure design requirements are implemented correctly and maintained for upgradeability. Strong client communication is part of the job, but the core of this role is engineering excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Support custom Lightning Web Components, and Flows, following Salesforce best practices.
- Extend TechnoMile's managed packages for client-specific needs without forking core product functionality.
- Maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar).
- Evaluate declarative vs. programmatic approaches and recommend the right solution for long-term maintainability.
- Manage source-driven development using Git, Salesforce CLI, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in Agile ceremonies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with at least one full-cycle Salesforce implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud configuration and customization.
- Experience with data migration tools (Data Loader, Workbench, or middleware) and data modeling for large-volume orgs.
- Demonstrated ability to design governor-limit-conscious, bulkified, and secure solutions following Salesforce best practices.
- Experience with Git, Salesforce CLI, and CI/CD pipelines for source-driven deployments.
- Working knowledge of declarative tools (Flow, Validation Rules) and when to choose them over code.
- Effective communication skills with both engineering and business audiences.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred
- Strong understanding of Apex (including asynchronous Apex), Lightning Web Components, Aura, SOQL/SOSL, and Visualforce.
- Experience implementing or extending Salesforce managed packages (AppExchange / ISV products), including name spaced metadata and package upgrade paths.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and at least one middleware platform.
- Knowledge of SaaS extension patterns: callable interfaces, invocable actions, and Platform Events.
- Deep Sales Cloud expertise for SaaS product extensions — extending core sales workflows without disrupting standard functionality.
- Additional certifications: Platform Developer I or JavaScript Developer I
