Project Manager with the Enterprise Student Systems Department.
[What you will be working on]
Project Management and Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Enterprise Student Systems projects from initiation and planning through implementation, transition and closure.
- Develop business cases, project proposals, delivery plans, budgets and resource plans that align with business needs and expected outcomes.
Governance and Project Management Office Operations
- Establish and maintain proportionate project governance, controls, standards, templates, stage gates and reporting practices.
- Maintain project plans, dashboards, decision logs, risk and issue registers, change records, action trackers and management reports.
Stakeholder Management and Secretariat Support
- Act as the primary coordination point across business users, technology teams, vendors, procurement, finance, governance functions and management.
- Engage stakeholders to clarify requirements, priorities, constraints, roles, dependencies and implementation readiness.
Product, Change and Service Transition
- Support roadmap planning, prioritisation and continuous improvement of assigned systems and digital products.
- Manage enhancement requests and backlogs based on business value, urgency, risk, dependencies and available capacity.
Vendor, Procurement and Contract Management
- Manage day-to-day vendor performance and relationships for assigned projects, systems and services.
- Support procurement activities, including requirements definition, tender documentation, evaluation, clarifications and vendor presentations.
Financial Management
- Support budget planning, cost estimation, funding requests, forecasts and financial reporting for assigned projects and services.
- Track approved budgets, commitments, actual expenditure, remaining balances and forecast-to-complete.
Documentation and Records Management
- Maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements, decisions, changes, deliverables and approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
[What we are looking for]
- Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business IT or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in technology project management, system implementation, IT delivery, PMO operations or vendor-managed projects.
- Experience with enterprise systems, digital platforms, system integration, testing, service transition and operational handover.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint and Visio, or equivalent project and collaboration tools.
Preferred Skills
- Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, CITPM, COMIT or equivalent.
- Agile certification such as Certified ScrumMaster, Product Owner or equivalent.
